I think I might have seen this on Nickelodeon growing up in the '80s as a kid.
Does anyone recall an episode where they had an autographed ball and lost/damaged it or something and tried to forge a new autographed ball? Or am I thinking of the wrong show?

Yes, this show was on Nickelodeon in the 80's. Saturday or Sunday morning, I think. I remember watching it, but I don't remember that particular episode. As the other poster said, that did happen in the Sandlot.

Yes, this was definitely on Nickelodeon back in the day. I remember liking it alot. I think they ran it between Danger Mouse and You Can't do That on Television.
