Most absurd, ridiculous, unbelivable, and retarded show, EVER!

I have been driving a truck since the 70's, my father drove trucks, and my grandfather started the company in the 30's, and nothing, nowhere in any state or country can this become even close to the trucking business EVER!

Sure, if you are a child it makes sense and cool, and sure, a trucker could probably own a chimpanzee, but everything else in these episodes is FAR from what the trucking industry was, and is now.

Just stereotypes another everyday hard job as being a glorious, glamorous, cool laid back life, and poisons america and the universe into believing jobs like this this can be like being a rock star with super hot chicks and dudes doing what they like when they like.

I think I will get my buddy that is in the film business to make episodes where Hitler and the fourth Reich are fun loving, antic filled, and dumb ass great guys.

Oh, wait, the Judan did this already, with Hogan's Heroes!

The Beatles sucked, and the worst and most overrated band ever, you PCP Charles Manson lovers.

Dude, relax, it was the 70's. It's every ans fantasy to be ont he open road and run into Hot chicks, tight pants, and no authority to tell you you cant drive fast.

You telling me that if you saw a hot chick on the open road hitchhiking across america that you wouldnt at least make a pass? You cant be from the 70's, then. I revoke your pimp card.

Hollywood is built on stereotypes. by that type of thinking, All mechanics are absolute horndogs, all blondes are buble headed ditzes, and truckers drive across america humping everything in site.

hard job? gimme a break. around here, i wish they'd have tighter scrutiny over who can get a CDL. There seem to be no rules for the road for truck drivers... likely because the majority are illiterate.

What about that time I found you naked with that bowl of Jell-O?

uummm, i'm a truck driver myself, and I am hardly illiterate. Yes we do have LOTS of regulations we have to know and follow, such as Hours-of-Service, weight limits, where we can and cannot drive, knowing where low clearance locations are and so forth. And of course dealing with the idiot 4-wheelers who think that just because we have 18 wheels we can stop on a dime.

here's some reading material for you:

"dealing with the idiot 4-wheelers"

Dude, take some responsibility. Don't tailgate me, cut me off, or change lanes into me like an idiot with your gigantic 18-wheeled panzerwagon and we won't have a problem.

Hey, like the other guy said - this was the 1970's CB radios, the Convoy movie, Dukes of Hazzard era, cheap gas, Jimmy Carter's big smile, etc. People thought chimps were still monkeys back then too and still good as pets versus more enlightened as we are today.

Next you'll tell me that cop shows aren't like really being a cop. That doctors aren't really having sex in the stock room, and every medical case isn't a baffling and interesting mystery. That real PIs don't drive ferraris while solving huge cases that are too much for the police to figure out while bedding leggy super models who happen to be the only women who walk into their offices. Nah couldn't be.

Bwhahaha you nailed it. Now the guy who started the thread needs to relax drink a beer with a xanax chaser

21 rock/pop chart number 1 hits in a 6 year span means you DON'T suck. That's not counting the NUMEROUS #2 and #3 hits. That's not opinion. That's statistical FACT. Yeah, I'm defending the Beatles, the ONE band that doesn't need defending. You may not be a fan of theirs, that's simply your poor taste in music, but your "they suck" is nothing more than a dumb, hating blanket statement of opinion without any factual creedence to back it up.

Just because you hate being a truck driver (it seems) and don't like a fictional TV show that was intended to entertain (regardless of being dumb or not) doesn't mean you should be spewing your ridiculous hateful crap on IMDB.

Am I going to see your nonsense on the "Dukes of Hazzard", "Incredible Hulk" or "Charlies Angels" pages too, since they were so realistic?

And from the "tone" of your angry post (on a BJ and the Bear page! LOL) You're probably a big, big fan of Glenn Beck. LOL

I was 12 when this show came on and it was ridiculous then. It was nothing but for girls to watch and adding the seven lady truckers just sent guys further away.
It was retarded.

I actually watched Sheriff Lobo more than I did this thing and that really wasn't much there either.

Evigan was just supposed to be such a BADASS, when he was in someone's office and was about to leave, they asked him to close the door on his way out and OOOOH, . . . . he DIDN'T!

Most absurd and retarted post for this board ever as well.

Great and fantastic show!!

The 70's were such a great time. My brother drove truck across the states in the 70's and lets just say he picked up a lot of hitchhikers ( female of course ) and you are entitled to your opinion. No matter how much it stinks.

Got to agree with the OP on this one. Horrible show. Even the rednecks here in Alabama didn't like it and they named the chimp after Bear Bryant. LOL!
