If you've enjoyed this mess, you should see Nightwing (1979)

Vampire bats show up in a Native American tribal area in Nightwing (1979). The movie has several thematic similarities and same faults as Swarm. Awful script turns this ambitious story about the Native American cultural issues into a lethargic festival of stupidity. The best thing about it is awesome performance by David Warner (at least until the script turns him into a dummy near the end).
