Please release this movie on DVD
When are they gonna release it on DVD ?
share I was watching this movie on TV tonight but missed the ending. Out of bored curiosity I was wondering how it ended. I figured I'd never see this on TV again (and if I did I wouldn't watch it.) so I thought I'd ask. Thanks.
You're not paranoid, dear. People really are out to get you.

It was never released on video, so I doubt it'll ever see the light of day on DVD.
shareThe widescreen version was shown on UniversalHD and it looked breathtaking.
They may show it again, unless Lily was notified of it. LOL. It is pretty bad for wanting to be a slice of life type movie. 4 out of 10
you can find it on DVD on www.raredvdworldwide.com. This guy has ALOT of rare stuff on DVD-R!
shareI'm embarrassed to admit it but I would buy this if it came out on mainstream DVD. I know this is a totally boring movie but I really loved John in his earlier days. (Actually, I still do). With "Welcome Back Kotter" out on DVD, I wouldn't mind adding "Moment by Moment" to the list. Please understand I know this movie stinks but I really think Travolta had some other excellent films come out around the same time as this one. "Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Urban Cowboy and Blow Out" were all great movies in my opinion. It seems a lot of movie critics enjoyed his "come back" movies (meaning "Pulp Fiction" and after) but I really enjoy his earlier work the most.
shareI'm desperate to see this just to find out if it's as bad as everyone says. I have to complete my Travolta collection too.
shareIt really is bad.
shareeyes of an angel, momeny by moment, and the experts are the only john travolta movies i need to get on dvd. i wish they would release them pronto. DVD NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
shareGood news, sorta. You can now see this disaster area FREE (with a few commercials interspersed) from the prominent link on the imdb webpage for the movie. I'm watching it now and it truly is a stinker, largely because the two lead actors have all the chemistry of pickles and ice cream.
sharei agree with you about john travolta. i have all his movies on dvd except: the experts, moment by moment, and eyes of an angel. i wish they would release these titles on dvd. with john travolta, how could they go wrong?
shareit is too bad, with both lily tomlin and john travolta this should be released on dvd
sharei am an avid fan of john travolta, but lily tomlin is a gas. you're right this does need to be re-released on dvd. it's hard to get some of the movies of the great stars before they were really big stars. WE NEED THIS MOVIE ON DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
shareI wish they would release this on DVD. I've always wanted to see it. I know it's probably a very bad movie but I don't care, I want to see it.
Update! - I finally got to see this film and it did not disappoint: almost surreal in its insipidness and awkwardness. I often wondered during the viewing experience if this was possibly intended as a subtle parody of all those Hollywood romances? I have this horrible fear it wasn't. But I'm glad I got to see it. Next on my bad movie wish list? The 1980 Talia Shire vehicle Windows.
I hate to encourage bootleg buying but since this movie will probably never see a dvd release, you can find dvd copies of it on ioffer.com. Worth a buy if you REALLY want to see it.
An official Region 1 DVD release of this gloriously ghastly abomination is certainly long overdue.
"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"
You are not alone---I too want this 1970s campy, simplistic, yet lovely romance to be released on DVD! I would totally buy it!! Maybe somewhere out there, someone is listening to us! I hope so!
[SHOUTS] Hey, DVD distributers! One of you please officially release "Moment by Moment" on DVD! And, don't scrimp on the quality! Us fans want nice cover-art, good visual-audio, a trailer, and extras (like commentary or actor bios)! And, don't think there isn't a market for its release either! In addition to fans of the film itself, many Tomlin and Travolta fans would jump at the chance to complete their collections with this rarity, I'm sure---as would fans of campy, novelty, 1970s cinema! So, "Moment by Moment" should be released officially on to DVD! I rest my case. Thanks!

Enjoy the badness... :)
Von Augenblick zu Augenblick is the German title... and yes, it has an english track... (it's hidden in the extras Menu as the "long version") and is even in stereo!!
