Mr. Yesil - Billy's Turkish Lawyer


Was this character implied to be corrupt? In the scene where Billy is meeting with his dad and the American lawyer and Yesil, there were a few hints of non verbal communication that Yesil was not exactly on the "up and up." Was this character implied to be corrupt or unethical in the legal sense? Was there something that I missed here?

That how I took it. He probably knows he couldn’t help him if he wanted to and is just milking the situation.
