Female body types

Can't help but notice when you watch a film from this era how much female bodies have changed or evolved from then til now...

They seem to have different pelvis / hip and butt structure than what one would see on a beach today...I know bikini styles have obviously changed but it's almost like evolution made a drastic change in the 30 odd years when it comes to the shape of women...

I know it's an odd thing to notice ;)

Back then, they had tits like a sparrow.

Back then, females weren't taking up the butt as much as they do now. That may have something to do with it.

Eastern Europeans mixing with American genes is why I feel many women are more attractive today. I have seen plenty of Texans who are stunning, and they don't have Eastern European blood, so this is just a guess of mine.

There was women back then who liked like many of today, they just weren't put in many movies and if they did they were crappy actors. They cared more about who could act back then compared to now. Now it seems like they'll throw anybody out there good actor or not.

Actually, as much as some may dismiss the idea, I believe there is something to this theory. I noticed it a few years ago when I developed a love of vintage '70s style, and started buying a lot of vintage clothes. People tell me quite frequently that the decade suits me, and that I have the right body shape for it - that's quite a broad, square pelvis.
My dad, who was in his 20s back then, tells me that he definitely thinks women had a different body shape back then, and the main thing he attributes this to is the Pill.
By the 1970s, the vast majority of young women were on the Pill, which of course caused hormonal changes to their bodies, and thus affected their body shapes.
The different kinds of contraceptive pill, and the scientific advancements since then have seen rehauls of the kinds of chemicals and hormones they used, which could account for the vast majority of young women having, yet again, a different body type to our parents' generation.

So I think you're right about this, AJWho44.

Have you ever seen Janet from Three's Company? Or 70's porn star Nina Hartley. They would turn heads at a beach today...and I remember many such body types growing up in the 70's. Yes, the pill and diet have a lot to do with shaping body's. I have to think eating so many hormone induced food today has something to do with body shapes as well.

In the 70s, teen girls were cast as teen girls. Nowadays, Fast n Furious part 19 would have you believe that all teen girls on the beach are asian sluts with hips like Kim Kardashian, and all they do is lick lollipops all day and hang out with itlaian douchebags.

I live on Lake Erie. When I go to the public beaches, girls look like the girls from Jaws 2.

I couldn't believe when I read his filmography that he played a toilet (no joke) in According to Jim

The women in Jaws 2 look and act more like real women did, and still do in many cases. I was at the beach in Michigan this past July and felt like a lot of them could have walked out of the film and onto the beach around me.

If this movie was made in current times, they would all have tattoos, tongue piercings, look like they spend every moment at the gym, and it would be one girl of every race because the studios feel that would appeal to a wider demographic and sell more tickets. Plus they would be endlessly messing with their cell phones and given dumber dialogue to spew out.

I'll take women who look realistic over perfect beauty any day, but that's just me...

Actors and actresses today put much more of a premium on appearances. They also have more access to steroids, other drugs, better equipment for working out, etc. We spend way more time worrying about perfection in our bodies than we used to.

Whores will have their trinkets.

Their diets probably have something to do with it too.

Look at the corn-fed women in Iowa!
