I was all excited to finally watch this for the first time, today, halloween, on netflix, with my friends...and it litereally ruined the night. Made us laugh. Super goofy, NO PACE AT ALL, stupid decisions from characters, dead points...i can go on for hours. Why do you people like this??? Please expand!
shareBased on your use of language, I assume you're not more than what???----15 years old? You have to understand, for many of us who were kids or teenagers when this came out it was one of the first of its kind. In fact, on one of the dvd extras, one of the critics who is a horror movie buff said that people can consider horror movies throughout history split into two eras: "Before Halloween, and after Halloween". It may be no big deal to those of you who have been desensitized by decades of poor wannabes, but this was a true original. And again if you had been a kid or even an adult in 1978, you would've been scared *beep* Ask anyone older and they'll tell you. Just like one day you'll tell younger people about something and they'll just roll their eyes and laugh at you too. It'll happen, trust me on that.

shareI'm sure this has been asked, but how old are you? I wouldn't expect more than 12-18. This is real filmmaking, something you probably haven't been exposed to much so far.
