The flying car at the end

Simply put: Sandy and Danny died in the Shake Shack after the ferris wheel broke free from its moorings. The car symbolizes their ascent to heaven.

"She filled the blank with a tube of denture cream and a false sense of superiority."

There is a theory that the entire movie is an out of body experience that Sandy is having after drowning in the ocean in the opening scene. The car's ascent symbolizes Sandy's ascension into heaven as her life slips away.

I think it flew because he was going to get "some" with the new pussy wagon. You know just because he turned up with grease on his head and on his other head and she decided she wanted to be how he wanted her to be and to change from being a people pleaser into a different kind of people pleaser. SO of course the car flying is the most unbelievable part of the movie...

I like the rumor that Sandy actually drowned at the Beach, and this is just her dealing with her death, and in the end she is ascending to Heaven.

Also I think it is more to the line "If it was any faster it would fly".
