Disappointing

Having heard so much about this, I really expected more.

The summary says "In-depth examination". Hardly... it touched on a few areas which affected the people involved. It's a really well put together film, but the overall impression leaves me empty. Not enough was explored about the psychological impact on Mike, Nick and Steve.

There's video material available on how soldiers coming back absolutely break down, causing chaos for themselves and families. Francis Coppola said we want film to say something. This film to me did not say much.

I found Platoon a better watch.
