Where was the Son of God to counteract the Son of Satan?

Whilst I have enjoyed both The Omen and Damien:OmenII (just shown on UKTV this Xmas) - Where was God to balance out Satan? It's an accepted fact that if you believe in God then you also have to believe in the Devil. Where were the good guys? Some Angel or something? It makes it a bit laughable that Satan's spawn can get away with everything but poor old Patrick Troughton can't even get into a church in the first film. If we're going to have some bad guys then please let's have some good guys too....The Exorcist had both yet The Omen franchise lets Damien get away with countless murders before he's stabbed with 'the daggers'. Although in my opinion Omen 3 was awful. Anyone else feel like we've been cheated by artistic licence?

Because fairy tales.

Regarding this "balance" of which you speak in this fairy tale . . . if that were the case, where was the Son of "Satan" during the time the supposed Son of "God" reportedly walked the earth?

Answer - nowhere . . because it's fiction . . just like the movie.

To answer the OP's question: Where was the Son of God?

If He appeared, the film would be quite short. 

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?
Penfold, shush.
