Surely the inspiration - albeit Scottish - for Mrs Doyle in Father Ted? Surely!?!

I think the inspiration for "Mrs. Doubtfire"........

Ha ha! I had the exact same thought watching this - she must be what Robin Williams was trying for in Mrs. Doubtfire!

It was Shelia Keith's own idea for her character to have a Scottish accent. I like the Irish Mrs Doyle in 'Father Ted.'
