Hilarious uncensored version ran on local LA TV

This is one of my favorite stories of its kind.

Back in the 90s a local Los Angeles TV station was advertising their new policy of running films 'unedited' for television.

One afternoon they ran TBfBrazil completely unedited including all possible offensive dialog including John Dehner's warning about not having to watch out for the Jews as much as the n-words!

I was impressed by their new bold policy, like - Wow! Uncensored and unedited!

When they ran the film again that very same evening, all the offensive dialog had been removed. Hahahaha!!!! Good work!!! Hahahahaha!!!

Yeah, Politically Correct censorship at it's finest. Now everyone even tiptoes around the "N"-word (gasp!). I half suspect this post will be deleted for the same reason.

Those Who Know Better have done the same with certain other words and curses, some pretty mild, all for our protection. On second thought it's probably to prevent being sued by some Professional Victim group. Remember the flap over the Taco Bell dog speaking Spanish?

Political Correctness is a very serious brain disease.

Back in the mid 80's we had a station that ran uncut films in the late night hours after midnight. Too many parents objected, so they had to clean up the R-rated films or not show them at all after only about three weeks on the air.

A few years back I saw the same thing involving Jonny Quest. One network showed unedited episodes, the other with them edited.
