WAS GREGORY HARRISON NOT OUTSTANDING IN THIS?

GREGORY HARRISON WAS BRILLIANT IN THIS MINI SERIES. HE WAS PROBABLY 28 WHEN HE GOT THE JOB AND HIS CHARACTER HAS TO AGE FROM 18 TO 70, AND HE DOES IT SO BELIEVABLY.

WHO'D HAVE THOUGHT.

He certainly was a pleasant surprise in this. Shame about the rest of his career.

Yes, Gregory Harrison made a great Levi Zendt, but I thought the entire cast was terrific. My favorite characters were Stephen McHattie as Jake Pasquinnel and Dennis Weaver as R.J. Poteet.

McHattie made a great Jake Pasquinel: he fit the character so well. Most of the cast was excellent, though, as you say. Even the kid who played the young Jim Lloyd (Michael LeClair) was good in the part - and it's often where kids are involved that things fall down.

He was fine. I saw him in a musical in San Francisco in the late '70s, and he could sing.
