This didnt even get a mention at the Oscars! Great Direction, Perfect story and amazing acting! How could this have been missed?

So funny...I remember the year Gene Kelly died and the Oscars were doing their "In Memoriam" montage. I remarked to the people I was watching with, "What? No Viva Knievel!"
