American hockey is violent

Growing up in Sweden, I have neve been familiar with this view of hockey as something this violent and dangerous as it is depicted here and something you wouldn't allow your children to watch. I guess European hockey players are all like the chicken *beep* Ned Braden is here, lol. I was told by a New Yorker that they have ruined the NHL with their queerness. Watching this movie, now I understand what he meant.

It's kind of ironic considering that he says in the opening that being violent in the game is acting like some English pig with no brain (though the English hardly play hockey).
