This is a real fun 70's drive-in romp starring the ever-cool Peter Fonda. Him and Susan St. James make for a very charming couple in this picture.

Look nonchalant and keep on smiling.

there are several Texas musicians of the time, in this movie! I have it on VHS myself. Saw it at the drive-in here in Houston, Texas, had to be '76 or '77.

I'm certain I saw this at the show back when it came out. I was probably 13 and the perfect demographic, that's for sure. I just got it on dvd from Amazon because I wanted to remember "old" Austin, from the 70's. And did this movie NOT disappoint! there are some great shots of city, Dobie mall, the lake, etc. the Driskill! I'd totally forgotten about that! Some GREAT, funny, chase scenes! I like the boat chase at the end. very exciting! ..and Susan St. James has that HOT "Texas chick" look goin' for sure. pure 70's! too much!

It is an enjoyable flick. I miss movies like this where there were no special effects and actual stuntmen were involved.

I also saw this at a drive-in double feature with The Gauntlet. Really liked it. Just watched it on YouTube. Fun movie. I liked it more than Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, and Thunderbolt and Lightfoot
