...One of Clint's worst movies. It is SO contrived and unlikely. Can anybody think up a worse Clint Eastwood movie??

I won't watch anything from Clint in the 80s-all very weak compared to Escape From Alcatraz and before.
The Gauntlet is lame for many reasons, but I like his character, so I watch it from time to time.

Coogan's Bluff (another dumb one, but an occasional guilty pleasure )
Paint Your Wagon
Two Mules for Sister Sara
Kelly's Heros (yet another weak one, but still an occasional guilty pleasure).
You don't like Kelly's Heroes? I would say it's definitely in my top 5 Eastwood. Where Eagles Dare rules as well.
shareKH's has its moments, but WED was dumb, and not really a CE movie at all. He hardly has any dialogue.
I'd rather watch 'Coogan's Bluff' from this era of Clint's career. At least he's the star.
