One Question I Have About The Final Scene

After Regan and Father Lamont leave, you see Dr. Tuskin in the crowd and you see the screen begin to flash like being under the synchronizer.

Do you think that sometime later, Dr. Tuskin developed some mental problems due to Pazuzu's attack at the end of the film, that she needed to use the synchronizer herself in order to help take care of the problem?

I have always had this opinion and I wonder if anybody else has the same opinion.

Why do they say things are a dime a dozen
when a dozen eggs costs a $1.89.

***I have no answer for this question, but I still love this question. For anyone who hasn't seen the film, the question makes as much sense either way. :)

Had this theory been taken up it would have made for a great spin off movie!....

The ending was indeed open ended and if any film producers read this thread then here's an opening to redeem the heretics reputation!

interesting thought.

That's exactly what I thought... They were still in synch, it could get ugly...

I never gave this too much thought, since I always believed they just did it because it looked kind of cool to have this effect on Dr. Tuskin in the last scene, but it is certainly an unique interpretation, and an interesting one at that.

I think when Regan called Dr Tuskin from station heading to washington Dr Tuskin went for the synchronizer and it was with synchronizer that she get to that house!

Or it was all real and after that mess doctor was helping herself to rewind to that time and by that could cure her illness due to that hard time!

I actually thought that was a nice touch. If anything, it suggests that she's going to be haunted by the events of the film, or else try and find out how Regan and Lamont's battle against evil is going in a few years. Or, most importantly, she's now fully on board with the Tailhard du Chardin theory.

Wow. Interesting.
