I remember watching this show as a youngster in the early 80's on HBO and always thought it was from that time period. It's probably been 27 or 28 years since I've seen it. I may have to try to find it on DVD.

I thought it was from the eighties. I didn't even know it existed til i saw it at a friend's place this Christmas. It's a great family special! Go muppets!

That was me too. I thought it was an 80s special, since that was when i saw it first.
