why did eva leave bruno all of a sudden?

the previous day she told him, that theyre still together eventhough they sleep in different rooms, n that she needs some time alone, then the next day she leaves with two men like a slut! why was she so mean to him when he came, why didnt she atleast say goodbye, through out the film she is not shown as a bad person so why this sudden change in the end. n why does eva like to be treated as a slut? she could have left with one decent man or sumthing, but she left with two brutes sharing her and *beep* her anytime they want. i really didnt get the sudden change in evas character... i knw brunos constant drunken rambiling might have annoyed her, but not to the extent of leaving him without notice n even screaming at him when he finds her like theres nuthing between them. it was worst than rape what she did to him, it really affected me.. pls could someone explain to me the whole situation better..

I´d bet the issue of money had something to do with it. And also the fact she was living together with a semi-retard and pathetic geezer which sure must´ve bugged her at least to some extent. As for why he didn´t say goodbye then she probably feared it´d cause a major nerve-wrecking scene. Guess she wasn´t that angelic after all.

Consider that Eva was just as damaged as Bruno. She knew the home would be reprossessed and there was no way of making steady money (legitimately or otherwise) in that town. Even in Berlin, Eva pretty much just used Bruno between her episodes with the pimps.

I think she finally got fed up of Bruno's hypocrisy in that he would condemn her for prostitution yet happily take the money to pay the bills - while at the same time whining on about money all the time.

I found the change from the day before to be aggravating. Leaving is one thing; but turning her back on her friend who probably saved her life is another. The way she left really pissed me off.

If she had to come back to Berlin, she would have to face the pimps again so, yes, this is how the human being work, whenever you need to fight for your own good, you will do what's best for you.

Yeah. Things were really working out so well for her with her pimps.

Letting the pimps abuse her? What do you suggest he should have done about it? It´s hardly your Hollywood empowerment fantasy where the hero goes to a karate school, kicks the bad guys´ asses, gets the gal and sails into the sunset.
