I still watched it, but man, was I bored.
I'm a 90's baby so I guess it's part of my generation, lol.

I found this to be better than "A woman under the influence", but it is certainly boring at times. The guy walking around with a bullet in his abdomen like nithing was wrong did bother me, but the worst thing was those godawful shows: What a piece of crap they were. Mr. Sophistication was one of the worst singers to ever set foot on a stage, and the whole numbers were so dumb, it was hard for me to suspend my desbelief that anybody would pay money to see that garbage.

Now see, that's the one part of this horrible movie I DO understand - back in the 60s and 70s men would crawl through razors just to see a pretty girl naked. There was absolutely nothing like today's availability of such things, not even close. As I recall, clubs had to claim there was "art" involved along with the nudity, hence the stupid themes and Mr. Sophistication's presence.

Way to stretch an hour story to two and a quarter. Cassavettes should have stuck to acting.
