An episode I remember

I remember watching an old VHS tape of an episode about the universe roughly 30 years ago, at the age of 7. It ended with Nimoy telling the audience that in roughly a billion years, our sun will absorb our planet in its death throes. Having no concept of time, I was terrified and preparing for the end.
