Theme from Casino Royale originated here!

Just caught this film on TV as something to watch but was surprised how good it was. Not just a derivative trucker action movie.

Another thing that struck me was in the scene in which Jan Michael Vincent drives home from the hospital having been told his wife can't have children.

The music playing is identical to the main theme from Casino Royale! If you have CR on dvd, check out the introduction to the scene where Bond first meets Vesper on the train. There's an establishing shot showing the train and that's where the theme appears.

perhaps composer David Arnold is a fan of this film as well?!
