Am I the only one who considers this a truly great film?

This is not simply a zombie film. It is not just gore and violence. It is a film which foretells the path soicety is taking. It is Cronenberg's haunting depiction of society. Can no one else see this?

i love the slideshow at the beginning. This film takes me to a soft and snuggly place. Great 70's vibe. Seems low budget and slutty but that's what attracts me to it!

It's great, like a lot of Cronenbergs work. It's a bit too low-fi and cheap for some folks though. Some people put a lot of emphasis on production values.
