Delmer Powys Plebus Gwent

I thought it was a shame that Gwent topped himself. I reckon he should have joined the Alphans instead. After all, he was looking for a new companion; he could have had 300.

Unfortunately, the fact that the Anderson didn't determine the running order of the episodes would have made it difficult to drop in a character halfway through the series. Another lost opportunity.

Maya, of course, cause let's face it, she really wasn't an Alphan but a refugee.

But I do get the question. For me it's a toss-up between Brian the Brain and Tabor the Trader.

I'm thinkin' Balor.

Really liked Zandor ... and anyone Brian Blessed played!!

reply

Christopher Lee as Zandor was a memorable characterization. And Brian Blessed as the Ultima Thule leader. I also really loved Catherine Schell in the first season as "The Servant of the Guardian". She gives an almost fey performance as the robot woman. Laconic movements...really interesting, subtle acting.

Mine is Gwent of The Infernal Machine. This is probably because I am an old fan of Leo McKern and his wonderful voice.

How about Archon from "Voyager's Return"? The guy who looked like Jesus. He had an awesome way of speaking. The way he said "false", "extinguished", and "be warned...". An awesome dude.

And you wanna know the worst part? You're from outta state!
