Simpson first tried to reclaim the narrative from her backing track snafu from the Jude Law-hosted October 23, 2004 Saturday Night Live episode on MTV's The Ashlee Simpson Show. Now she's using the incident to help promote her new E! reality show, Ashlee+Evan. “All of sudden, you know, sh*t happened and it was like boom. And the world hated me for this SNL moment I had,” she said in a clip from her upcoming show.

Why is she famous again?

Ppl say that about kk, but never heard of her before the buffalo wings incident, and that was like midway through the season.
