HEAT MISER ROCKS !!! Anybody agree ??

I used to watch a lot of Rankin Bass Animation for Christmas when I was wee little kid . Born in 1984 ,I'm now a women of 21 , but I have continued to watch these stop-motion specials each year with my little cousins .

While Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was always my favorite Rankin Bass Christmas Character .... HEAT MISER was always my favorite besides him !!
He was funny all throughout " The Year Without A Santa Claus " and his song was the catchiest , most fun song in the whole special . His singing voice is so beautiful . His singing is even better then Snow Miser's song , and his temper makes him hystarical .

I remember a lot of his song ... not that Snow Miser's song isn't great , and Snowy is pretty cool ... but Snowy gets all the love and attention . I LOVE HEAT MISER because his the Underdog of Mother Nature and just trying to get as much love and repect as everyone else in the world , but people don't like him and only like Snow Miser becasue Heat Miser isn't as close a friend of Santa Claus ... I used to feel bad for Heat Miser .

H.M. looks so cute an cuddly and his fire hair looks so soft for some reason . Does anybody know if they make plush toys of Heat Miser the way they make stuffed Rudolphs ? I'd love to have a plushie of Heat Miser !!

I would check eBay, they have everything. They might not have any plushes right now, but they might closer to Christmas.

P.S. I agree, Heat Miser rocks!

...in my old hometown of Kingstree, South Carolina, I knew a man who was a dead
ringer for the heat miser...looked like him in every way...he was the proprietor
of the greyhound bus terminal. Unfortunately the greedy greyhound executives put
that and about 2,000 other bus terminals out of business just this year.
The message we got from this...? It's a no-brainer!
SMALL TOWN AMERICA! YOUR MONEY'S NO GOOD AROUND HERE!!!!

I totally agree since I am not a fan of cold weather. I never want to see a day that's under 60 degrees!

Yeah really, I wish the Heat Miser was here right now. We've got snow on the ground and it's only about 18 degrees outside. Brrrrrrr!

I GOT A BAD HAIR CUT ONE YEAR AND I CHUNKED IT AND IT HAPPENED TO BE THE SAME YEAR I SAW THIS MOVE AND LOVED IT AND WHEN I LOOKED IN THE MIRRIOR I RELIZED THAT I HAD HIS HAIR!!! AND I AGREE THAT HIS SONG IS BETTER THAN THE SNOW MIZERS SONG AND THE JOKE AND ARE SAID ABOUT HIM ARE THE BEST!!! hE SO ROCKS

Sorry to actually disagree on something w/ you for once, HopperFlikFanatic, but Snow Miser PWNZ! Heat Miser was cool and his temper was funny, but ya gotta love Snowy. He's just so nice and funny! Hee hee...I'll bet another reason you love Heat Miser is because he's got Sydrome's hair!

I agree Heat Miser (I just looked at the title to see how miser is spelled - lol) rocks. I was born in the late 60's and saw these shows on TV. Then in college at the university of Connecticut or UCONN in the late 80's someone had recorded a video cassette of the movie. They would play it over and over again in my dorm - Stowe D, in south campus. That was when my nick name was "Goodtimes".

Fast forward 20 years! I live in San Diego and rarely get to see snow and rented the movie and showed it to my wife who loves cartoons. I got a real kick out of it. I forgot many of the scenes but immediately remember Heat and Cold miser although, I never favored one brother over another.

Do they make classic cartoons like this anymore?

aaaah yeah, i'm such a sucker for the underdog. LOL! if you're on facebook you can join a group called "Team Heat Miser!" =D

btw, i'm pretty sure they do have plushies; just do a google search!
