DVD coming soon

Blue Underground will release this film on DVD on February the 28th.

By the way, is this good? I can see that it has an average vote of 8.4 (but only 10 votes), and it has got Franco Nero in it. I'm definately going to buy the DVD anyway. And it's released by Blue Underground, which I have yet to see a crap DVD release from (when it comes to picture quality, sound, extras etc).

Looking forward to this!

Nero is good as always, but I've never really been a fan of director Damiano Damiani. Its worth checking out, but personally I would not buy it.

I agree. Not disappointing, but far from Nero's best film. When it comes to Damiani, I've only seen two other of his productions; "A Bullet for the General" (which I liked), and "Confessions of a Police Captain..." (which was OK). Like Pycal said, worth seeing if you're a fan of Nero, but not a very important film.

It was just okay for me, too. I think some more action could have livened things up.

This movie was really good, with an interesting twist neat the end. I knew it was a political thriller, so I wasn't looking for a smash-'em-up action flick. It definitely keeps you interested all the way through---this is the third good political crime drama I've seen Franco Nero in, and he's good in all of them----the others are CONFESSIONS OF A POLICE CAPTAIN and HIGH CRIME aka THE MARSEILLES CONNECTION. There's also a nice interview with both Nero and the director about why they made the film--really interesting, too.

I’m a Poliziotteschi fan but I did have a hard time getting through this one. Having Nero as the lead is a plus though.
