greatest movie title ever?

Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia is, in my opinion, the greatest film title. A teacher in high school told me about this film. The very moment he muttered the title I knew I had to see it. The title is just amazing. What are some other favorites?

I'm kinda partial to 'Perche quelle strane goccho di sangue sul corpo di Jennifer?' ('Why Those Strange Drops of Blood on the Body of Jennifer?') and 'Bad Day at Black Rock'. Cool titles, one and all.

"The Laughing Policeman" is a great title. "Monster's Ball". "Hang 'em High".

But the movie is pretty damn good, too. Peckinpah has said that after "The Wild Bunch", this was his favorite. Loved Benny's Mexican Lady. And dig: they were both musical. So, though flawed, they were beautiful creatures.

BMTHO Alfredo Garcia is a smashing film title, much for the reasons detailed above. The use of proper names and pronouns in titles seems to convey a sense of identity and pathos. The following are some succesful film titles in the same vein:
She wore a yellow ribbon
Aguirre, Wrath of God
Get Carter
I walked with a zombie

I also like
The day the earth stood still
Bad day at Black Rock
Point Blank

Most Hitchcock movies also have quirky, smart titles

I've always found the best titles belong to obscure B-List Spaghetti Westerns. They really grab your attention, especially the Django and Sartana films, which are numerous in number. It should be noted that most of these films have nothing to do with either Django or Sartana, but the titles are still badass.

Examples for Sartana:
If You Meet Sartana Pray for Your Death
Sartana's Coming, Get Your Coffins Ready
Have a Good Funeral, My Friend... Sartana Will Pay
Let's Go and Kill Sartana
Sartana Kills Them All
Cloud of Dust... Cry of Death... Sartana Is Coming
Sartana Does Not Forgive

Examples for Django:
Django, Kill... If You Live, Shoot!
Django the Bastard
Django, Prepare a Coffin
Don't Wait, Django... Shoot!
Django Shoots First
Django Does Not Forgive
Kill Django... Kill First

And lastly, examples of Django/Sartana team ups:
Django and Sartana Are Coming... It's the End
One Damned Day at Dawn... Django Meets Sartana

I've always liked this movie title:
Night of the Day of the Dawn of the Son of the Bride of the Return of the Revenge of the Terror of the Attack of the Evil, Mutant, Alien, Flesh Eating, Hellbound, Zombified Living Dead Part 2: In Shocking 2-D.

Never seen it though, it's probably poor.

I agree that BTH of Alfredo Garcia is an all time great title. Given that it's such a fun movie and has a great title, it's surprising that more people haven't seen it.

I also agree that Bad Day at Black Rock has to be in the top 5.

Some other titles that I think are great:

Pulp Fiction, Death of a Salesman, Drugstore Cowboy, Reservoir Dogs, Affliction, Blood Simple, The Guns of Navarone, Panic in Needle Park
