so this is teh episode where mr edwards gets hurt and walks with a cane and starts beating people with it then goes back to walnut grove after 2 years and charles is trying to cheer him up by showing him his nips

during the hunting trip at the end after charles slaps the hell out of laura and tells edwards "if you wanna kill yourself go ahead, but you aint using my pointy nips to do it!"

charles is praying for a miracle. a deer appears and charles shoots to scare it but it doesnt move

charles realizes God is helping him save his friend Edwards

So Charles shoots the deer to use the blood to make it seem like it was a hunting mistake

HERES WHERE THE MISTAKE IS

When Charles fires off teh second shot (killing teh deer) Edwards reacts and knows something is wrong and run to go find Charles BUT IT WAS THE SECOND SHOT.
So to Edwards the first show was no big deal, but the second shot was a "OH SHIT! I GOTTA GO!!!"

I know its a show but i find it funny that the second shot is what made Edwards react

Oh yeah, I remember that episode when Edwards was trying to ventilate the back of his skull with a .30 .30. Can’t imagine a dude like Edwards with a daily blood alcohol content that would drop a Clydesdale, suffering too badly from depression.

But one of Chuck’s tent stake nips driven through the eye would have served just as well as any Winchester 😀

I just find it hilarious that Edwards didnt react to the first shot, but he did to the second shot

lIke was 2 shots back then a warning call?

I think what it was Jason, was that Edwards was so drunk all the time, that it took 2 shots before he finally heard one. Edwards was legally dead everyday around noon time.

I'm pretty sure it was 3 shots even back then.
