the cast was not afraid to have nude scenes. unlike what movies today are like

I agree. Just saw this, and I every much enjoy how 70's European (particularly Italian and French) movies are unpretentious about nudity.

It's why 70's euro-cinema was so great. Neither ashamed nor pretentious about sex and nudity. Sure, a lot of it is fantasy. But the industry and actors/actresses weren't afraid to deliver that.
