Much better than Abominable Dr. Phibes
I've seen all three, and Theatre of Blood is positively mainstream British horror with Vincent Price, compared to the Phibes stuff which was just plain WEIRD.
Oh man, I love Theatre of Blood, and I love Abominable Dr. Phibes! I just revisited it last night actually. I'm a big proponent of weirdness even if for its own sake, and am always on the lookout for movies with that energy.
shareFair enough, but I think being killed by Shakespearean methods will always be far more interesting than being killed by, what was it in Phibes, the Seven Plagues of Egypt or something?
