True story of a rookie cop who refuses to take stolen money from other corrupt cops who then try to murder him on the job. When his heroism is revealed as he lays critical in a hospital bed, many of his superiors refuse to support him.

Not while a fat tub-of-shit desk troll gets overpaid to shield corrupt public servants with guns and the force of law?

Wonderful.

A great movie, but I can no longer watch it.

The blue wall of silence. The police have a culture of protecting each other, good or bad.

They're often too afraid to turn their bad apples in. It's our culture that has caused this. The only way that police corruption can and will be done away with is to change society.

As the line in the song "Rhinestone Cowboy" goes: "Where hustle's the name of the game, and nice guys get washed away like the snow and the rain."
