Stoner killing Steve Randall with the Black Mamba - justified?

What were your thoughts of Dr. Stoner avenging the death of Kristina's pet snake Harry and harassing her and David by killing Steve Randall by putting a Black Mamba in the shower?

True, Steve Randall was not a good character and was a real jerk by falsely accusing David of getting Kitty into trouble, picking a fist fight with David at the Carnival, and finally breaking and entering into Kristina's bedroom and killing her pet snake. But that said, should he be executed for that?

When you saw what Dr. Stoner did in retaliation, did you feel pity for Steve Randall, or did you feel a sense of satisfaction?

In real life, yeah, it was unjustified and extreme but in movie world he did exactly what you'd expect/want him to. Either way, Dr. Stoner felt justified and he did it without giving it any thought. It was a natural reaction for him and it probably wasn't his first murder, making this one all that much easier. As a viewer I was totally rooting for Steve to snuff it so I was completely satisfied with Dr. Stoner throwing some entertainment my way.

I was kinda happy he died after terrorizing Kristina and David so much. Dr. Stoner wasn't sane and that explains the extremism. But yeah, a more suiting punishment would have been to just kick Steve's ass good.

The killing of Randall was WELL justified...he killed Harry...a beloved family member.

Sense of satisfaction for sure. Plus, Dr. Stoner wasn't sane and that explains the extremism. 😉

Randall got what he deserved. He was a bully and a troublemaker with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. True karmic justice- he kills a snake and was, in turn killed by a snake. I love that sequence- when he steps on the mamba and it bites him on the foot- he didn't know what species of snake it was but he knew his future wasn't bright! Within a few seconds, he starts to go into a coma and then collapses in the shower stall, legs trembling, with death to soon follow from respiratory paralysis and heart failure. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Randall killed Harry and for that he deserved death. The guy was another frat boy Trumper rapist who wouldn't have contributed anything to world except STDs.

by this time, Stoner's insanity was taking over so kind of hard to justify it.
