If I talked like that in front of my parents I would have gotten a swift kick in the backside. You let that kind of thing go unchecked, and the kid will just run amok.

McNeil was one of those Hollywood liberals. I'm sure she believed in very permissive parenting.

Prior to Reagan getting possessed, I didn't notice anything wrong with her behavior. Now, if you are referring to the book, Reagan's behavior was much different and a little bit bratty...
