Why was Charlie Brown angry at the end of the movie?

After Snoopy demands his gifts to Linus and Schroeder back, he jumps on his dog house and conducts the orchestra playing the end credits music. At this point Charlie Brown gives Snoopy an angry look.

I guess you could argue that CB was mad at Snoopy's independent spirit and all the grief he went through but wouldn't the fact that Snoopy was back make happiness the dominat feeling here?

The ending was rushed. They must have felt they ran out of time. They should not have spent so much time on stupid songs and I guess then they would have been able to finish the ending properly.

I mean, Snoopy just left Lila in a hurry with no mention of Lila after that.

As for Charlie Brown being angry at Snoopy I guess it was done like that because the writers thought it would be funny but it wasn't such a good idea after all.

Because SNOOPY didn't really express joy of seeing him again. Instead, he immediately went back to acting like before (only paying attention to CHARLIE BROWN when he needed something).

Snoopy treats Charlie as a free man-servant, or almost a slave. He doesn't see Charlie as individual or respectable being, he barely remembers his name (if at all).

Therefore, Snoopy always treats Charlie without respect, and this is one of those times when Charlie expected otherwise, and was disappointed that he still gets no respect from Snoopy.

Charlie is emotional and gets angry easily, and this reached his breaking point - after ALL that has happened, after Charlie worried about Snoopy so much and tried to make things better, Snoopy basically ignores him and his emotions and needs, and this makes Charlie snap.

How can anyone miss this?
