In Mr Robot Season 1 Episode 4 init 1 there is a film within a film called
"The Careful Massacre of the Bourgeoisie" that must be an allusion to this movie.
Both have rich people attending a fancy meal at a long table that is interrupted by violence.

You also get to see the character's dream like Elliot's dream. Indeed Elliots dream is another fancy meal at a long table.

kind of sad to see pathetic new movies trying to boost themselves by referrring to older classics ... it's kind of insulting to the original movie mostly.
