Mike Teavee - Quentin Tarantino as a kid?
I don't know, was I the only one who thought of that while watching this?

Don't know about Tarantino, but I saw this at the theater when I was 6 and both my mom and I agreed I was pretty much a slightly toned-down Mike Teavee. I even would have been cool with being shrunk like he was. I always wanted to be the size of a toy soldier.
