i love this movie. it also kind of had similarities with fiddler on the roof, given the time, setting,the movie poster, and even the years the movie came out. wish this movie was marketed more.

They have in the past; that's how I saw it. No upcoming shows though.

The cable channel Cinemoi showed N&A uncut yesterday, and I caught the last hour or so. Must have been the new Blu-Ray transfer as it looked stunning.

They seem to've pillarboxed it, again; I'm so frustrated. I would've thought they'd know not to do that, by now, on their HD channel...

Me too. This year TCM is showing Oscar movies in alphabetical order. Since "N&A" won a couple and was nominated for more, I believe TCM will run it. Today they are on the letter "F".

They showed it this week. Okay movie I guess, but it's trying hard to be like 'Doctor Zhivago' and it's a half-hour too long. The two leads were alright, but not quite as charismatic enough to carry a film of this scale. Tom Baker was the best part as Rasputin.
