What am I missing?

does it get credit because its one of the first and hence im jaded by other films since?

it has some problems.

-every character is 2dimensional props for our main character to interact with, seem cool ect.

-even some "cool scenes" are ruined by silliness. Like the bank heist scene, where he eats a sandwich while shooting

-wtf is up with the lighting? could somone tell the director/ director of photopgrahy/cinemotographer im supposed to see what is happening. there is and can be a place for extremely dark shots with only certain things highlighted. but when the most intense chase scenes are happening. and all I can see is a literal floating head run across the screen. there is ways to light dark scenes so the audience can still feel the ambience and it be night

-about 1hr 10 in so reserving judgement about the villain but so far seems like a moustache twirler with what could have been an extremely interesting one. instead it starts getting into a cringe over the top conservative criticism of "the overly sensitive to criminals justice system"

You wouldn’t know a classic film if it took a shit on your head

37 comments in and already embarrassing yourself. for someone my age, im pretty well versed in classic films, two of my favourite being singing in the rain and citizen Kane. you are off to a horrible start. my guess is a sock account of one of the triggered people ive engaged with before
