Some of the funniest *@#$ I have ever seen [spoilers]

I found this movie to be absolutely, uproariously entertaining.

The staircase scene alone, and the entire ending. So, so funny.
The turtle! I could go on.

I LOLed many times. I only started watching it because it was halftime (Ravens v Texans)and I couldn't tolerate commentary by Suh. And the fact that the movie was rated 3 1/2 stars. I never did turn back to the game!

edit:

And to make my case...well okay the fact that there seemed to be two spirals in the staircase and he just kept rolling and rolling for the longest time.

And the way Edwina screamed "AND I HOPE YOU ARE DEAD!". It was just so much melodrama, and so darkly funny.

When he threw the turtle, they showed it hitting the ground slowed down a bit with this dramatic music. There is no way that they didn't intend that to be funny.

His dream about the threesome (or should I say foursome). Comical.

But I knew that this movie was supposed to be funny when the boss woman first looked up guiltily at that painting of herself and her brother - with an orchestra hit. They've even succeeded somehow in making incest funny! Well, the fact that she is completely twisted.

The very ending too, where they talked abut his death. And the music and the way the credits came up.

So...I hadn't seen the first couple of scenes in the movie the first time I viewed it.

In watching it again, the photos of war dead were pretty chilling. And that same music is what played at the end. And although he had survived the war battle, he didn't survive the women. At the end he was just as dead as the guys they showed at the start. And the girls were killers all the same.

Interesting...but he would surely have died if they hadn't rescued him. Especially the youngest one. Is it really murder that they took back what they gave him?

I still love revenge movies no matter what.

I found it to be a dark comedy. You might also like Hard Candy and American Psycho.

you people are....very strange, to think of this as a comedy. the only unintentionally funny part of this movie was when they catch eastwood in bed with the girl, and he pushes her butt out of the camera from "first person" view. it was pretty silly and ridiculous looking that made me chuckle, beyond that the movie is not at all funny.

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

That really was funny. It went by so quick I had to back it up to see if they actually did what I thought I saw. I was laughing my head off the second time. Who the heck comes up with something like that.

As much as I hated that "Nurse Ratched" Martha lady, I wanted to kill him when he threw Randolph the turtle.

Lmfao at the rubbery turtle hitting the floor. I also found this movie pretty funny (all ugly aspects aside).

I thought the rubber turtle bounced but wasn't sure. However Amy (Pamela) did a good job of showing her utter hatred now of someone she once loved. Up to that point I was sick of hearing her say "Miss Martha" over and over.

Hahaha, I needed to read something like this and laugh after seeing what I experienced as a tense, suspense-filled movie!

Even though I got anxious while watching it, I can see how it has comedic elements if viewed in the right light (and after the fact). Like most horror/suspense movies (especially anything made in the 70s!) it has some cheesy elements which can be both horrific and, upon later reflection, can be funny as well.

I agree about the turtle -- although even though I clearly knew it was rubber, I knew from Amy's face there was going to be hell to pay.
