Paul Newman is one of the greatest actors ever and yet this film is no where to be found? Anybody have any idea where I can get a hold of a copy?

Try out this website. You can get a copy of it for 29.99. Rather expensive but thats the price you pay for these rare flicks.

Sadly Paul is no longer with us.Maybe now,this interesting film of an underrated director like S.Rosenberg will have a proper release deserved.Great Paul sensed quality and that's why he quoted the film as one of the most-if not the most-meaningful and powerful of his career(I'd add "Cool Hand Luke",of course).Paul,you'll always be with us.

don't know if you're still looking for the Paul Newman film WUSA, I bought one for about $15 from modcinema.com. there's a great scene where Anthony Perkins wanders into a Playboy nightclub!

There is FINALLY going to be an official R1 DVD release of this in the USA on December 7,2010!!!

It is coming out through "Olive Films", a label that's beginning to specialize in rare movies. They are releasing "Riot!", an old prison picture from '69 with Gene Hackman and Jim Brown on the same day as "WUSA". They are also releasing the rare 1970 film, "Tropic of Cancer", with Ellen Burstyn, in October.

They're an awesome label.

Sadly forgotten, if it was ever even remembered. I was fortunate to find this at my local library, which is the perfect resource for overlooked gems that I might not otherwise seek out.
