Question Why did Marion reject Robert for Jimmy?

I have seen this movie several times...you do not see Jimmy except for few minutes with a head-ache, he is with another woman with black hair.

Then at the end Marion see Jimmy again wants to know did you miss me...he is willing to dump the black hair woman.

Jimmy and Robert shakes hands.

It was kind of assumed by Goldie that it was done.

"It's the system, Lara. People will be different after the Revolution."

At the start of the film she was living with Jimmy and at the end she said he needed her more. Which did not seem like much of a reason to me but given the speed of Robert's recovery perhaps not such a silly choice.

she is 19 years old..

of course the drummer is more exciting
