Two parts scared the hell out of me as a kid

1) The ghosts flying through the air during Marley's first appearance

2) When the Ghost of Christmas future reveals himself as a skeleton

Now, as an adult, they just seem sort of cheesy, but I remember being terrified as a child! Anyone else have that problem?

Yup! Me too! I saw it when it originally was in theaters in 1970 (I was five at the time) and both of those scenes scared me terribly! It's funny what passed for "G" rated back then... Look at "2001" for another example... Both of those films would be rated "PG" today...

The transformation of the door knockers in these movies always came to mind when we arrived at my grandparents house on Christmas Eve (They had a big, antique lion knocker on their door).
