Although many commentators have followed rumours that she died some time ago, Sunday Telegraph journalist Mick Brown tracked her down to Germany in the mid-90s. Hers is a sad stopry - abandoned in France by Cammell shortly after filming Performance, she fell even more heavily into heroin addiction and lived for most of the 70s and 80s in Kabul, Afganistan! She has suffered from mental illness and currently lives in a hostel. Brown's account of interviewing her can be found in his 'Performance A-Z'.

Her lifestyle even at the age of 16 when she played the part of Lucy was abandoned. Shortly afterwards I remember reading that Cammell drove her to Paris and told her that he did not want to see her again. All very sad - a beautiful girl.
shareOh man, this is depressing. I came on here to make a post about how insanely gorgeous she was in this movie. What a bummer to hear about what became of her. Really interesting that she ended up in Kabul considering her scene where she keeps bringing up Persia and the bandits. Maybe she was interested in that region and possibly influenced the script there a bit?
