Anna Should Not Have Been Killed

I was very upset when Anna was killed by Frankenstein. Veronica Carlson is my fave Hammer actress, and such a beautiful girl. They should have kept her alive to exact revenge on Franky after his heinously raping her.

I agree. Peter Cushing is always likable in every movie I've seen him in. He usually seems so polite, caring, and intelligent that you can't help but like him. This is one of the first movies I've seen of his where he plays a character that is truly evil and unlikable.

I never thought they would've killed Anna off. I thought putting her through that rape scene was enough and they'd guarantee her some mercy after that, so I was shocked they ended up killing her anyways and don't think they should have.

Her stabbing the "creature" was always odd to me. He wakes up and asks her where Frankenstein is. Perfectly reasonable question. She doesn't answer for some reason, perhaps she was scared, and runs. The creature then rushes at her. I wonder if he had ill intent, didn't seem like it, but he jumped her anyway. It might have been more interesting if she stabbed the creature out of spite.
