The Ending?

I really love this movie and usually end up watching it on the Showtime stations whenever it airs under the name, "Cult of the Damned." Many of the reviewers here seem to dislike it a great deal (mainly seeing mainstream stars like McDowell, Jones and Rawls in something so off center), but upon repeated viewings it becomes more of a "cult" classic with over-the-top acting, dialogue, and songs that kind of stick in your brain.

Anyway, I'm starting to believe that the whole story of meeting Bogart the rock star and him killing her parents was in Tara Nicole's mind--and she was insane and killed her parents. I guess the ending could be interpreted in many ways.

I just finished it and that’s what I thought. They show a picture of mom (and dad) dead in the house so mom couldn’t have died in a free fall. The question is did she get caught and put away? Her narration also sounds like a crazy person’s non-emotive tone - like Anthony Perkins at the end of Psycho.
