I have been having such a trip down memory lane watching these old episodes. I stopped watching AMC in the late 1980s when it became so ridiculous and added too many new characters to keep up with.

Who remembers crazy Harold with the "I'll be watching you" theme song? It was a pleasure to catch that one again.

Too bad they don't make soaps like they used to. Characters weren't super beautiful and flawless back then. But I had forgotten just how hot Tom was. Yum!! After watching the old episodes I would have to say Tom was the hottest in my opinion. And he saw crazy Erica just for what she was.

I have not been able to find where to watch the first episodes/years either. Did you get any replies?

No, Sadly. Maybe one day they'll release the whole thing on DVD.

Unfortunately the episodes at the beginning of the show were destroyed. Back before the late 70's soap episodes were destroyed after they were aired. It was a money saving thing. Little did they know that there would be a market for all the episodes on DVD in the future. Dark Shadows was one show that didn't destroy their episodes. Too bad they destroyed the episode where Joan Crawford replaced her daughter on The Secret Storm when she was in the hospital. That would have been something to see.
