Could Shirley Mcclain not have gotten along with Clint Eastwood??? In the trivia section it was stated that she did not get along with him or the director. How is it possible that she could not get along with one of the most relaxed movie star and director in history(Clint I mean; I don't know about Don Seigel's attitudes), but really how could that be? Anybody?

She sued to get out of making the movie, but lost. It probably didn't improve her attitude, or endear her to them.
shareShirley maclaine was great in this movie, but it always annoyed me how it turned out she had a bad time making the film alongside The King. A pity.

Shirley's always been a bit of a volatile personality and perhaps a bit nutty, but she's a real beauty and a pure talent. I had no idea there was tension on the set with Clint, because they're perfect together here. Wish they'd work together again.

There was a show celebrating the life and career of Clint Eastwood during the 80s, and she appeared on the show and it showed clips of "Two Mules for Sister Sara" too. I highly doubt she dislikes him a lot. She seems to be woman with a very independent streak.

A lot of the gossip BS that gets published is just that; BS. The people who read that trash like cat fights for some reason. I'm guessing it's mostly women and effete males. On all the shoots I've ever been on I've never known anybody to be as unprofessional as the tabloid "trades" say they are.
