TCM

Does anyone know if Turner Classic Movies has ever aired "Sweet Charity?"

reply

I doubt it. It is a Universal film. TCM tends to show MGM, and WB films because they are the company's who's back catalogues they own.

reply

Yes, they are the companies whose back catalogues they own.

I've seen it on TCM. Also, one evening, the alternate-ending version was shown! Naturally, I like the original one better, but it was interesting to see a variation.

Right now, I'm watching it letterboxed on Encore Love (433 in our area).

I watched it on TCM last night.

If it harms none, do what thou wilt.

reply

It's on @5:15PM EDT on TCM this evening.

reply

It's on tonight at 9EST

reply

TCM must have made a deal with MCA/Universal because they are showing their product now too. This includes the early Paramount library with MCA owns.

reply

They've aired it several times, including last night, 11/16/14.

reply

It aired there last night right after Show Boat. I was confused about a comment regarding comparing the preceding film to Show Boat.

reply

And again just a couple weeks ago.

reply

It is on right now!
